We had a water damage as a result of an overflowed toilet in my master bathroom. Family of five, facing displacement, I was STRESSED.

I had no idea where to turn. My Insurance Company said SERVPRO was a good company. That’s where I met Dave and team! Within moments of placing the call, SERVPRO called me to quickly schedule a crew to clean up the water. No time was wasted, stopping the damage and making my home safe was the priority. The mitigation crew cleaned up the damage and sectioned off any area of potential harm. They were quick but very attentive and patient. They took the time to explain exactly what they there doing and WHY and what came next. Once that process was complete, they smoothly transitioned me into the repair portion of the job. From beginning to end the General Contractor, Dave McCormick, kept me well informed along the way and was able to do so without overwhelming me with needless details about the project. He was amazing at handling all the behind the scenes work that obviously goes into repairing a home requiring weeks of restoration without me feeling pressure or concern. I always felt like whatever was happening Dave had it covered. I’ve worked with a number of managers in my career and Dave simply excels at multi-tasking and flawless execution. His management style was also evident in the crew he dispatched as they were repeatedly kind, considerate and efficient. Many a times they went above and beyond.

I was extremely satisfied with my experience with SERVPRO. The end product was stunning and truly was "Like it never even happened." Great team, great work. Thanks for everything.

While seeking help to clean up mold on the interior of a car, we discovered that every place we called, including the main SERVPRO number, do not perform such a service. However, even though SERVPRO does not normally provide Mold Remediation/Cleaning from vehicles, we contacted Matt and Nicole Betcher of SERVPRO of Gig Harbor/N. Tacoma and they chose to put the “norm” aside and took the time and energy to not merely provide answers to my questions over the phone, but set up an appointment and subsequently showed up at our residence to assess, evaluate and recommend proper clean up and remediation of the mold in the car.

From beginning to end, Matt and Nicole were not only very encouraging and respectful towards me, listening carefully to everything I was saying, but they also provided easily understood answers to all my questions regarding their policies and safety procedures, guiding me through the maze of the cleanup process, making it clearer to understand, not just to accomplish a successful cleanup, but also ensuring my safe health which is paramount to them both as well as to my wife and I. We value their respect of us, not putting us down or causing us to feel anything other than cared for, and we appreciate their honesty and candor with us every step of the way.

As someone who understands pride, integrity, honesty and good service as a Military Veteran and a former Police Officer, I most highly recommend Matt and Nicole Betcher and their company, SERVPRO of Gig Harbor/N.
