Cowpens South Carolina is a small, rural town located in Spartanburg County. This area is known as the "Upstate" of South Carolina and is part of the largest metropolitan area of the state consisting of Greenville, Spartanburg, and Anderson.
In January of 1781 the town of Cowpens was the site of the "Battle of Cowpens". The site has been preserved as the Cowpens National Battlefield which is located 9 miles from town in Cherokee County. Two Ships in the US Navy have been named the USS Cowpens in honor of the hard fought battle. The Nation Park Service took over the 1.5 acre site in 1933. They cultivated the area and ultimately expanded the size to 832 acres.
Cowpens is part of the "Community of Choice" movement and has a strong revitalization effort in the downtown district. The development has encouraged new merchants to bring antiques, art, dining and crafts to the area. The Cowpens Depot and Timken Community Center are also focal points of the town. The depot has become a source of pride since the community saved the destruction of the railroad that originated in the 1800's. The community was able to rally in 1980 and the Depot is now on the historical register and boasts a museum that is enjoyed by many. The "Moo Festival" is a highlight of the Cowpens community each year. The town name, deriving of the "cow pens" and the frontier pastureland created by early settlers celebrates the history before modern development. The festival is a time to celebrate the past and embrace the future of the quaint, southern, town.

Got quotes for doing our carpet and approx. 200 fabric chairs, with SERVPRO coming in at our price range. Will came out with his crew( Leon & Heath) layed out a game plan , started and cleaned everything without a hitch,we’re very professional and willing to work with us anyway we ask.. The crew was awesome, ask will to go ahead and get a quote worked up for the remainder of our facility. Thanks Guys
