Fergus is the largest community in Centre Wellington, a township within Wellington County in Ontario, Canada. It lies on the Grand River about 18 km North West of Guelph. The population of this community is about 21 000, but the community is growing as new homes an developement are being built. Fergus is best known for the annual Scottish Festival and Highland Games, held in August. The games represent the largest gathering of clans in the world outside Scotland and Cape Breton Island. Competitions are held for music, dancing and 'heavy' events such as the caber toss. St Andrew Street runs parallel to the Grand River and is the heart of downtown. In addition to stores and restaurants, the Fergus Grand Theatre is located here, on the south side of the street. I had a fire in my kitchen from cooking. SERVPRO responded (Keith) the same evening 45 minutes after I called my insurance company he was on site.
SERVPRO cleaned all 3 level of my home to remove the soot, and contents in 5 days and then the painted my main floor and stair wells over the weekend.
Thank you to SERVPRO and all the people who did work in my home, so fast and professional. They did make it "Like it never even happened."
John, Dave and Jordan did an amazing job! The ceiling has never looked better and we are beyond pleased with the finishing touches. All three were friendly, polite and focused on pleasing us with a job well done. You should be proud of these guys. Also, Chris thank you for everything you've done to undo the damage. It is so good to have our house back in order.
Unfortunately we have had to call on SERVPRO twice now. Each time we have been more than happy with their response time. I called their emergency line and got a call back from Keith almost immediately. He got out of bed and came to see the water damage and we talked about a course of action for remediation. First thing the next day Chris arrived and started the task of removing the water and ensuring everything was put back to pre flood condition once we were dry again. As much as I appreciated everything they did, I hope I never need them again...but if I do, I won't be calling anybody else.
