Elora is a community in the township of Centre Wellington, Ontario, Canada. It is well known for its 19th-century limestone architecture and the geographically significant Elora Gorge. Many tourists visit Elora on day trips, attracted by the historic nature of the town or the Grand River Raceway with horse racing and slot machines. It has many small shops, pubs, cafés, restaurants and art galleries which are often in buildings built during the mid 19th century. The Gorge Cinema is Canada's oldest continuously running repertory theatre and the annual Elora Festival & Singers event is particularly popular. The Elora Gorge and Conservation Area is at the edge of town and offers canoeing, paddleboat rentals, hiking, camp-grounds, fishing and picnicking. Some of the limestone cliffs are 12 metres high and the limestone Elora Quarry is a popular swimming spot in the summer. I had a fire in my kitchen from cooking. SERVPRO responded (Keith) the same evening 45 minutes after I called my insurance company he was on site.
SERVPRO cleaned all 3 level of my home to remove the soot, and contents in 5 days and then the painted my main floor and stair wells over the weekend.
Thank you to SERVPRO and all the people who did work in my home, so fast and professional. They did make it "Like it never even happened."
John, Dave and Jordan did an amazing job! The ceiling has never looked better and we are beyond pleased with the finishing touches. All three were friendly, polite and focused on pleasing us with a job well done. You should be proud of these guys. Also, Chris thank you for everything you've done to undo the damage. It is so good to have our house back in order.
Unfortunately we have had to call on SERVPRO twice now. Each time we have been more than happy with their response time. I called their emergency line and got a call back from Keith almost immediately. He got out of bed and came to see the water damage and we talked about a course of action for remediation. First thing the next day Chris arrived and started the task of removing the water and ensuring everything was put back to pre flood condition once we were dry again. As much as I appreciated everything they did, I hope I never need them again...but if I do, I won't be calling anybody else.
