Breslau is a community located just outside of Guelph within the township of Woolwich, part of the Waterloo Regional Municipality in Ontario Canada. Separated from the city of Kitchener by the Grand River, Breslau is named after a former German city. A post office was established in 1857 and began receiving mail on a daily basis. By 1864, the settlement had several tradesmen including two blacksmiths, a cooper, wagon maker, a cabinet maker and two mills. In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Breslau had a population of 5,053 people. Although a small town, the Region of Waterloo Airport is located in Breslau and services all over Canada and into the United States. I had a fire in my kitchen from cooking. SERVPRO responded (Keith) the same evening 45 minutes after I called my insurance company he was on site.
SERVPRO cleaned all 3 level of my home to remove the soot, and contents in 5 days and then the painted my main floor and stair wells over the weekend.
Thank you to SERVPRO and all the people who did work in my home, so fast and professional. They did make it "Like it never even happened."
John, Dave and Jordan did an amazing job! The ceiling has never looked better and we are beyond pleased with the finishing touches. All three were friendly, polite and focused on pleasing us with a job well done. You should be proud of these guys. Also, Chris thank you for everything you've done to undo the damage. It is so good to have our house back in order.
Unfortunately we have had to call on SERVPRO twice now. Each time we have been more than happy with their response time. I called their emergency line and got a call back from Keith almost immediately. He got out of bed and came to see the water damage and we talked about a course of action for remediation. First thing the next day Chris arrived and started the task of removing the water and ensuring everything was put back to pre flood condition once we were dry again. As much as I appreciated everything they did, I hope I never need them again...but if I do, I won't be calling anybody else.
