Winchester is a historic Nevada town with an abundance of old west culture and cowboy charm. Winchester, Nevada is known for its climate, geography and history. Winchester is located in the Mojave Desert with a high elevation of 5,008 feet. History of Winchester
The southern half of Las Vegas Valley was called Paradise Valley starting around 1910. The county commissioners voted to create an unincorporated town near the strip, ultimately saving the Las Vegas Strip from being annexed by the mayor in 1950. The unincorporated town was called Paradise. A year later, the commissioners decided the town had not been properly established, and they decided to create two new towns. In 1953, what the commissioners called "Town A" was eventually named Winchester. The town is still considered unincorporated, and the United State Postal Service does not recognize Winchester on postal addresses.

Called SERVPRO to help dry my bedroom out when it was flooded by upstairs neighbor's water heater. What a mess! SERVPRO sent JORGE and MARCOS to dry my place out and also to tear out the walls and ceiling areas that were damaged. Not only did they do a great job, but they were kind, patient and professional. I am a senior citizen, and the whole thing made me so nervous. If my nervousness bothered them in any way, they never let on...they were amazing!
I also spoke many times to Laura and Stacy...as well as Jasmine in the office. They, too, were always very kind and professional with me! I cannot begin to tell you how much that means to someone who is dealing with an unpleasant situation!!
