Across the street is the St. Mary's Caring, Inc. social services building. It was once the Brass Rail Sports Bar, but the previous owner handed the building's ownership over to the charity to benefit the entire community more efficiently. Great Mills has many people who volunteer there, as well. Many also volunteer at the Flat Iron Farm during the farm's Christmas celebrations, which are open to the public. The rest of the year, the farm's store is open for people to purchase farm-fresh produce and other goods.

Yesterday, I called SERVPRO because there was black mold found in my bathroom, they came out within the hour yesterday to start the work and came out today to finish, it was neatly and quickly done. Five star service from beginning to end!
As we prepared to list our house in August 2015, we were in a time crunch to have our carpets cleaned. Chad responded quickly and personally came out to give us a quote, and they fit us into their schedule quickly.
