What Is the Mold Remediation Process?
Air Filtration
Our specialized filtration equipment allows our professionals to capture microscopic mold spores out of the air. We utilize powerful “air scrubbers” and HEPA vacuums to prevent the spread of these mold spores while the mold remediation is in process.
Removing Mold and Mold-Infested Materials
We use antifungal and antimicrobial treatments to treat mold colonies. When necessary to remediate heavy mold growth, our mold removal process includes the removal and disposal of mold-infested porous materials such as carpeting, drywall, and insulation.
Cleaning
Our professionals clean the structural elements that were infected by mold such as flooring, framing, fixtures, HVAC and mechanical systems. We will also work to improve the indoor air quality (IAQ) of the space. Other items may also require extra attention after a mold infestation, including curtains, décor and important documents.
Restoration
Depending on the level of mold damage, drywall, subfloors, and other building materials may be removed. Restoration may involve minor repairs, such as replacing drywall, painting, and installing new carpet. It may entail major repairs such as the reconstruction of various areas or rooms in your home.
Emergency Contact
The mold cleanup and restoration process begins when you call us. Our specialist will ask a series of questions to help us determine the necessary equipment, resources, and personnel needed for you and your home.
Inspection and Mold Damage Assessment
Our professionals will carefully inspect your property for visible signs of mold. Using a variety of technologies, we can detect mold and locate any hidden water sources so the mold will not return once the area is cleaned and the mold removal process has been completed.
Mold Containment
We use various containment procedures to prevent the spread and cross-contamination of mold. All fans and heating and cooling systems will be turned off to prevent the spread as our professionals work to mitigate your mold problem.

Residential Mold Removal
Mold can come from many sources, including on clothing, pets, through open doors and windows, and because of excessive moisture, often in the aftermath of water damage. When it enters your home and begins to cause mold problems, it’s in your best interest to have professional mold remediation performed to help ensure safety and effectiveness.
Our professionals are equipped to assess the mold and provide remediation services, using advanced equipment and techniques to help ensure its source is located, and the mold is remediated. Given its potential to cause allergens and irritants that may cause health effects, our services will help maintain your peace of mind while our professionals work to clean up the mold as quickly as possible.
Commercial Mold Remediation

We understand the urgency of returning your business to functioning condition, given that every hour of closed business is an hour of lost production and revenue. Take the necessary steps to help protect your customers, employees, and the health of your business by having our team assess and remediate any mold damage that may have grown in your commercial space.

SERVPRO sent Ryan and Tony to remediate our crawl space and install a water barrier. They were very polite and professional. I would highly recommend this company. Thanks guys!
I took over management of a commercial building that was to be sold. Going through sales process, it was discovered that the building had a severe mold problem. SERVPRO of Henry and Randolph Counties was contacted to give us a quote and ultimately perform the mold remediation. Throughout the whole process, John and his crew did phenomenal work. John was so easy to work with and communicate with throughout the whole process. SERVPRO has been so accommodating to different situations that arose during the work. I am a home inspector in East Central Indiana. In our business we frequently find damage to homes from water intrusion, leaks and poor workmanship. The result from the water is sometimes mold growth. We have seen the work of SERVPRO for several years and are always impressed by the work they complete.
John and the employees of SERVPRO are very knowledgeable, well dressed and very professional. I would highly recommend SERVPRO for any clean ups.

About Us
Committed to Service
Service. It’s something John and Delmy Mantor take seriously, and it’s why they opened SERVPRO of Henry and Randolph Counties in 2009. The Mantors wanted a way to help the people around them and to serve them in their time of need. For the first year, John operated the business from a home office and as the business grew, they moved into a larger office located on South Main Street in New Castle. The franchise continued to grow and expand causing a need for a larger facility to house the increased number of team members and equipment. In the summer of 2014 SERVPRO of Henry and Randolph Counties relocated to their current location near the main campus of Henry Community Health on North 16th Street in New Castle.
Committed to Our Community
John and Delmy have called New Castle home since 1999. They raised two sons within this community and developed lasting friendships with many families and friends throughout Henry County. Delmy is very active in the community helping wherever she is needed. You can often see her helping out with local charities or helping members of their church who need an extra hand. John can be found on the ball diamonds during baseball season, as he is an avid ball player and coaches Babe Ruth baseball. John does a lot in the community with Breakfast Optimist as well. New Castle is home to the entire team here at SERVPRO of Henry and Randolph Counties, allowing us to be invested in the future of our community and our customers’ needs. As we’ve grown, our mission has never changed. We serve the people, the businesses, and the organizations of Henry and Randolph Counties that help make our community great.
Committed to Cleaning. Restoration. Construction.
Our motto is “Like it never even happened.” We strive to restore rather than replace your property after fire, water or mold damage has occurred. Restoring instead of replacing your property can save both time and money. Mitigation requires quick action. SERVPRO of Henry and Randolph Counties offers the highest possible standard of professionalism in the mitigation, cleanup and restoration of your home or business and have gained the reputation as the premier water, fire and mold remediation service in Henry and Randolph Counties.
