Grant Nitzsche serves as President of SERVPRO Extreme Response Team Nitzsche, a disaster restoration business that has been serving Illinois, Minnesota, and Florida since 2005. With nearly 20 years of experience, Grant has built a reputation for providing expert solutions for fire, water, mold, and storm damage restoration. Under Grant’s leadership, the company has become a trusted partner for homeowners and businesses, known for its rapid response and commitment to customer satisfaction. Alissa Nitzsche
As founder and Executive Vice President at SERVPRO Extreme Response Team Nitzsche, Alissa has become a pivotal leader in the company’s customer service and analytics operations. Alissa began her restoration career by marketing to local agents, quickly establishing a strong commitment to supporting customers through unexpected life events. In addition to her professional achievements, Alissa enjoys raising her 3 children in the Western suburbs of Chicago.

Marcus Smith is founder and Executive Vice President of our organization, which was established in 2003 and has grown into a leader in the restoration industry. Marcus has over two decades of expertise in disaster recovery, property restoration, and client-focused solutions. Under his leadership, the company has earned a reputation for quality craftsmanship, rapid response, and exceptional customer service. A dedicated entrepreneur, Marcus is passionate about innovation and fostering a strong, service-oriented team culture. When not managing his business, he actively supports community initiatives in Chicago and mentors aspiring entrepreneurs in the industry.
Tracy Smith
Launching her business in 2003, Tracy Smith has built thriving SERVPRO franchises that span multiple states and customer segments. Before venturing into disaster restoration, Tracy honed her expertise in customer strategy as a consultant, working closely with businesses to enhance their customer engagement, retention, and overall experience. This experience has been integral in shaping SERVPRO Extreme Team Nitzsche’s customer-centric approach. During her free time, Tracy enjoys cheering on her two sons from the sidelines of their soccer games and actively participates in nonprofit events that benefit the local community. She has also recently added hiking America’s beautiful National Parks to her bucket list.
Myles Moriarty
With over twenty years of construction and restoration experience, including owning and operating his own SERVPRO, Myles was a great fit to join our team. Before joining the restoration business, Myles was working in commercial buildings in the pipe and duct insulation industry. For over seventeen years he worked on projects in hospitals, schools, universities, small office buildings and even high rises in downtown Chicago. Myles held many different positions during his career in the pipe and duct insulation trade. He certainly learned a lot about the construction industry but also learned the significant differences between constructing a new building versus a remodel project. Also, he gained first-hand knowledge about the demands and logistical challenges of a building addition or repair situation, both of which play a large role in the restoration industry. His combined knowledge of both construction and restoration has proven to be a great asset with SERVPRO, but anyone who knows Myles agrees that his personality is perhaps his greatest strength. Liked by all, Myles makes for a natural at Business Development. When he is not working with customers or co-workers, Myles can be found on the far South Side of Chicago with his wife and four children.
Maggie Jablonska, General Manager
Started at SERVPRO of Ravenswood in August of 2011 as an Office Manager, and in a short number of years worked her way up to General Manager. Maggie performs essential daily tasks that keep this ship afloat. Her responsibilities include, yet never limit her; accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, claims processing and general office administration. She is also the liaison - or go-to guru - for the crew when assistance is needed in regards to inspections, Xactimate estimates, carpet/floor sample testing, scheduling and much much more!
Her dedication and worth is proven on an ongoing basis, especially when Storm Teams are mobilized.

The building's water pipes above me burst and my entire living room and dining room wood floors were floating around my home. I am a 70 year old woman with a disabled son who is living at home b/c Misericordia is closed because of the virus. I am sure you can imagine how upsetting this was for me not only to have to deal with the water but knowing that all of the workmen would be coming into my house to dry up and sanitize the floors during this PANDEMIC. I was an emotional wreck. Thank goodness that Dakota was there. I actually had a meltdown. He quickly started calming me down and assured me that he will take care of everything with the least amount of exposure to my son and I. After they were done and my whole house was blaring with loud fans, he could tell that I was still upset and told me he would check on me and that he understood my concern. He explained the cleaning process to me so I understood why they were doing all of this and that it was necessary to do it right so Pete and I would be living in a safe environment. Again, making me feel so much better about living with the inconvenience of fan blasting and not being able to go in the biggest part of the house. We were literally living in one bedroom b/c all of the furniture was taken out of the room. I am the lead administrator in a 24/7 treatment facility serving young children with severe mental health needs. During the evening of May 27th, Memorial Day weekend, our facility experienced a fire in one of the laundry rooms. The fire was quickly extinguished but the facility had well over $100,000 in water and smoke damages.
Tom and his SERVPRO team responded immediately that evening beginning the remediation process. German International School Chicago experienced extensive water damage to several areas of the building due to a broken sprinkler system. We contacted SERVPRO of Ravenswood to help us with the water damage restoration. Tom Williams of SERVPRO Ravenswood immediately responded to our call, inspected the damage and sent out a professional crew to clean up and dry the floors, walls and ceilings. The crew worked very efficiently and completed the job over the weekend, so the students did not have to miss any of their classes.
We were all very pleased with SERVPRO of Ravenswood and can highly recommend their services.
Ogden West required the use of SERVPRO of Ravenswood for a waiter main break which occurred on January 23, 2018. SERVPRO was called out and their response time was fast and met with great professionalism. The faculty, staff and students were never inconvenienced while SERVPRO worked efficiently to clean up the water. SERVPRO had a team member onsite daily to check the progress of the water removal, dehumidification and clean-up of the water damage areas.
We had an excellent experience with SERVPRO of Ravenswood. The team were incredible and very professional after we suffered damage in our Condo. Our fridge leaked and damaged a large section of our hardwood flooring and carpeting. The team came out within an hour of us calling, helped us communicate with our insurance, and began the mitigation process the next day. They were communicative throughout the whole process, explained every detail to us during the initial assessment and continuously through the drying period, and were always timely in their work. I cannot speak highly enough of Tom, Eduardo, and Brian.
