I contacted SERVPRO to come and inspect my clients property due to mold and moisture presence, Fabian showed up on time and performed testing and were very informative of the process and explained everything. They gave us estimate and were very competitive and pleased to have hired them for the job. They did excellent work in a timely and I highly recommend them to anyone I know.

Fabian and his team are the best! I had previously worked with another mold company and had a horrible experience. They took twice as long as they said they would and ended up costing twice the amount. After reading hundreds of reviews, I decided I would give SERVPRO of San Mateo a try, and I'm so glad I did! He showed up on time and meant business. He wasted no time in figuring out was going on and calling a company he trusts to come do an air test, on the same day! As soon as we were ready to proceed with the cleaning, Fabian and his team showed up on time and took care of everything. Mold is such a stressful thing to deal with, but Fabian takes all of the stress away and actually cares.

Had a mold issue at a rental unit of mine(two to be exact), so I called these guys. They cleaned it up and it passed inspection afterward. Would use again.

SERVPRO is whom we refer all our insurance customers when in need of clean-up and repairs.  The staff at SERVPRO of San Mateo are professional and prompt. Carolina is the best. They are dedicated to keeping our customers happy. My clients always thank me for suggesting SERVPRO of San Mateo.  I even had them do some mold remediation work at my house.  

Tried different cleaning products on orange film growing in my shower - nothing worked.  Called SERVPRO, they listened to my problem and asked me to send a photo.  A few minutes later Fabian called back, told me what to use, and it worked like a charm!  He was concerned, polite, and certainly knows his business!

The communication was a little slow at times when confirming the time, but the service itself was excellent. We had a garage that used to house an auto shop, so it was covered in... who knows what. It was never going to come completely clean, but after SERVPRO, it looks much better than it did before and we can feel a lot safer using it now.

Wilber from SERVPRO of San Mateo is a great guy! He cleaned the crawl space of our four-plex building following a water pipe leak. His work was quick, thorough and best of all there were no surprises from what he told us to expect. I hope we never have such a problem again but if so, we're definitely calling SERVPRO of San Mateo and Wilber as our go to clean up and restoration company for the job.

As someone who rarely writes Yelp reviews, I feel compelled to do so in this case because of my exceptional experience with SERVPRO in San Mateo. I had never had to do any type of industrial clean-up at my house before, and as a result, didn't really know where to turn. A friend of mine told me about this particular SERVPRO (there are several, and I believe each is managed or possibly owned separately), and even though I live in San Francisco, the fact they're in San Mateo didn't matter. Apparently, they service a wide area. 

The issue I had was in my garage, where a fairly small amount of sewage was backing up through the drain. I called SERVPRO, which sent someone out to assess the cleanup work that would be needed. He told me it would involve tearing up the carpet that's in my garage (don't ask why there's carpet there). Although I wasn't happy with that solution, I figured that was the only means of ensuring there wouldn't be any health issues down the road. The next day, Fabian Valadez was sent to do the job. What a gem. Not only was he a total pleasure, he came up with a work-around that allowed me to keep my carpet, get it clean and, no less, get it back to a healthful state. He worked quickly and efficiently, and was lovely to deal with. The job was done, and best of all, it didn't cost me an arm and a leg.

All I can say is that when it comes to this type of work, I am grateful for not only having had such a positive experience but also having been assigned Fabian to do the work. Hopefully I won't need this type of work again, but if I do, I will definitely be calling this SERVPRO and asking for Fabian.
