I had a terrible fire loss in my home, due to the oven. As I'm sure you may imagine it was bad! There was smoke all over my house and my kitchen got ruined. I was devastated we had just remodeled the kitchen one year prior to the incident. I contact my insurance and the y gave me SERVPRO of San Mateo's phone number I called them around 5:30 in the afternoon, Carolina took my call and she was so nice, she asked me questions regarding the house and what had happened I tried to respond to all her questions but I was so devastated she understood me. She had her project manager Fabian come and perform a inspection. Fabian was really helpful, he told me they would sent out a estimate with in the next 24 hours and he sent it that same night around 10. Wow! These guys are amazing. I am really thankful to have found such an awesome team. Needless to say I am 100% satisfied with their work.
I was visiting my brother who lives in San Fran! Go 49ers!!! 2 weeks ago when we had a major issue with the dishwasher, the machine started dumping water while we were watching the football games in the evening and we didn't notice until the kitchen and part of the dining area was completely soaked! Neither one of us has ever been in a situation like that and it is disconcerting to say the least. We immediately started getting towels but it was just too much water. Our neighbor heard the commotion (it's an apartment building) and gave us the card of some restoration company called SERVPRO of San Mateo. I ended up calling as my brother was wringing out towels in the bathtub. A guy named Stephen answered and I explained the situation. He said he would get somebody out there within 2 hours and that actually happened to my surprise. We ended up stopping the water flow by turning off the valve, but the water that was already on the floor stayed there until SERVPRO of San Mateo came out and sucked it all up with this big green machine that looked kind of like a vacuum with a water tank. They set up some fans and because they came out so quickly, my brothers floors were salvaged. 3 days later they removed the fans and the place was pretty much back to how it was. The dishwasher caused the problems so we asked SERVPRO to dispose of it and they took it and junked it. It was a really old unit so if you have an old dishwasher, be careful! Thank you to Stephen and SERVPRO for the fast response.
Fabian and his team were fantastic. Got home Sunday night to find finished basement flooded. Called SERVPRO, Fabian returned my call immediately and was there within an hour with 4 colleagues. They were kind, reassuring, worked hard and fast. Fabian walked me through the process - calling insurance, etc. Fabian was always available to me. The contractor was so impressed with the job they did.

Jose and his team were very helpful and professional in helping fix extensive water damage through multiple parts of the house. They were communicative through the assessment, demolition, and cleaning process from start to finish. They worked quickly and efficiently to help resolve the issue and were courteous and safe the whole time.
After burglars broke a window on a Friday night, we called SERVPRO of San Mateo over the weekend to board the widow. We were so pleased they came so quick thanks to there emergency services they were able to get the job done even after business hours.
Juan Carlos was fantastic - he was timely and did a thorough job cleaning up the glass and boarding-up the window in a way that didn't damage the wood panels.

Seeing your house affected by black water is not easy. However, SERVPRO of San Mateo made the restoration process smoother. Their customer service was the best. Their project manager was very knowledgeable and patient. He responded to all my questions and anticipated the job evolution so I could understand what was going on all the time. Also, their crew members were experienced, professional and organized.
