Douglas Scott is the co-owner of SERVPRO of El Dorado Hills/Placerville along with his wife, Kelsey, operating this franchise since 2014. As one of the owners of SERVPRO, he oversees large loss jobs we receive, traveling and responding to them as needed. Some catastrophic disaster events he handles are hurricanes and wildfires such as the Camp Fire in Northern California in 2018. In addition, Doug constantly plans for the future growth of the company. Within the company, Doug holds a certification from the EPA in Lead Paint Abatement, and from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) in Water Damage Restoration, Fire & Smoke Restoration, Health & Safety, Odor Control, Applied Structural Drying, Carpet Cleaning, and Trauma & Crime Scene. Before SERVPRO, Doug was in the U.S. Army for five years, in the uniformed law enforcement branch, as a military police officer, and a fifteen month tour in Baghdad. After the military, Doug attended Central Texas college for business where he developed his leadership, management, and networking skills. He enjoys spending time outdoors, from skiing and fishing, to camping with his family. Doug has five children who inspire him every day. He wants to provide a better future for his children and for his employees to be the best they can be. He is motivated by the success of his team and the development of the company drives him daily. The best asset as a business owner is allowing his managers and staff to give them the ability to do their job, and self-learn with minimal guidance.

Kelsey Scott is the co-owner of SERVPRO of El Dorado Hills/Placerville along with her husband, Douglas, operating this franchise since 2014. As one of the owners of the franchise, Kelsey manages the large losses when out in the field. In the office, Kelsey handles all the company accounts such as daily transactions and reviewing the final billing of each job. In addition, she oversees the training, quality assurance in education, and identifies areas where training or skills are needed. Kelsey holds a certification as a Licensed General Contractor, and from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) in Water Damage Restoration, Fire & Smoke Restoration, and from the American Bio-Recovery Association (ABRA) a certification as a Bio-Recovery Technician. Prior to SERVPRO, Kelsey spent many years as a Veterinary Technician working in an Emergency and Critical Care unit for small animals. Kelsey has a compassion for animals and loves her horses, and has been horse riding since she was two years old. She also enjoys camping with her husband and five kids. Kelsey is inspired to give our customers the opportunity to have a great experience, and most importantly, showing her daughters that you can be a woman in a male dominated field and be successful at it. Kelsey is motivated by the opportunity to teach people and give them better skills that can impact their life long term. She contributes to the customer experience by ensuring all their concerns and/or needs are met in a timely manner. Kelsey can be very involved in the customer’s journey or in some cases, very little, as it varies with each customer. She wants to empower others to handle and make their own decisions, but she is always there to guide them every step of the way.

Stonewall is one of our Estimators at SERVPRO of El Dorado Hills/Placerville working with us since August 2019. As an estimator, his role consists of inspecting the property for both self-pay and insurance claimed jobs and develops a recommended scope of work and educates the customer on the process. Furthermore, he reviews the job files to create itemized estimates for customers and insurances based on the work performed. Prior to working with us, Stonewall worked for a large hardware store for many years. He is proficient in various types of mitigation and restoration work and certified in electric work and forklift machinery usage. When he is not working, he enjoys working with cars such as engines, motorcycles, and his jeep; outdoor activities such as camping, snowboarding, skateboarding, and any extreme sport; but most importantly, spending time with his daughter. Stonewall’s daughter is a huge influence in his life, and inspires him to be a better person, both as a father figure and as a friend. He is also inspired to work hard daily, putting extra effort in his work knowing a job is done better. As he works, he is very meticulous and conducts each job carefully. Until he came to us, Stonewall had never worked for a small company with direct communication with the owners of the business. His motivation is the owners. He wants to contribute his part to help make the business grow, he wants to put in the extra effort to show them that he is there to work hard for them. While working here, Stonewall contributes to the customer experience through customer communication from start to finish. From easing the customer’s stress from their recent disaster, to clearly identifying what our company needs to perform in order to get the work done that day.

Arturo is the General Manager at SERVPRO of El Dorado Hills/Placerville. He has been working for SERVPRO for five years, coming to us in January 2019, and having the following certifications from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC): Water Restoration Technician, Fire Restoration Technician, and Biohazard Trauma and Cleanup. Arturo started off with us as a production technician and has progressed to a production manager in a short time. As a production manager, Arturo communicates with the adjusters and customers receiving approvals to proceed with the projects. He manages both the crew chiefs and technicians, allocates jobs to them, monitors their progress, handles the scope of work, and in charge of overall training of the production to ensure they are aware of what they are doing and why they do it. Prior to working with SERVPRO, Arturo was a server and caregiver for elderly residents. He has a passion for sketching realistic, monochrome portraits; amateuring boxing and been in the sport since he was 11, competing for seven years; and performing on the piano. Arturo is motivated by helping the whole team grow to be good or even better than himself. To contribute to the customer experience, he aims to always make customers happy and help them understand our process.

Kimmy is the Office Manager and Marketing Coordinator at SERVPRO of El Dorado Hills/Placerville. She has been a part of the team since September of 2020 where she handles both the office and marketing aspects. As an office manager, she oversees the office team to perform all administrative activities and ensures customer satisfactions. In addition, she monitors and manages the job files and bills accordingly, along with following up with the insurance or customer on outstanding payments. As a marketing coordinator, she handles the digital marketing by maintaining the franchise website and social media platforms, manages and responds to the online reviews. Working with SERVPRO, Kimmy holds a certification from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) in Water Damage Restoration. Prior to working with SERVPRO, she was working as a marketing coordinator for a digital signage company. She has two degrees, a B.S. in Business Administration from Sonoma State University, and a M.S. in Advertising & Marketing from the University of Hull in England. She enjoys dancing, painting, and reading, and traveling when the opportunity arises. Kimmy’s family inspires her every day and supports her in all the things she chooses to do in her life. As an office representative and digital marketer, she has always been motivated by teamwork, creative projects, and being able to draw a connection between the marketing efforts and the company growth. She likes witnessing the results of the marketing efforts and watching as the leads we nurture become regular customers. She contributes to the customer experience by ensuring that customers are aware of our online presence and the services we can provide.

Stanley is one of our Estimators at SERVPRO of El Dorado Hills/Placerville and has been working with us since 2017. In this role, he handles the initial inspection for both self-pay and insurance claimed jobs where he also provides a sketch of the property of the affected areas to the insurance companies and establishes a customer relationship and educates them on the process. In addition, he drafts up price estimates for each project, analyzing the labor efforts, materials used, and time requirements needed for the project, as well as working with customers to understand desired upgrades or changes to their estimates, and the final billing of the project. Since being with SERVPRO, he has obtained the following certifications from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC): Water Removal Technician, Fire Restoration Technician, and Trauma Crime Scene. Prior to being employed with us, Stanley was a floor lead in an electronic warehouse and spent several years in the United States Navy. Outside of work, he enjoys building computers, working on cars, and spending time with his children. Stanley is motivated by helping the customers he meets, especially seeing the satisfaction of the customer’s needs taken care of, makes his day. He contributes to the customer experience by interacting with each and every customer and helping them in their time of need

David is the Production Manager at SERVPRO of El Dorado Hills/Placerville where he handles both phone and email communication with the customers and adjusters while overseeing the jobs, documenting the customer’s concerns or complaints and resolve them in a timely manner, communicate with the customer on the job progress, coordinating and assigning tasks to the technicians, guiding the technicians through the project, following and enforcing all safety procedures on the job site, completing the job documentation, and in charge of the vehicle maintenance. David has been working with us for a year and a half, joining us in May of 2019. Working with SERVPRO, he holds a certification from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) in Water Restoration, and Trauma and Crime Scene. Prior to working for SERVPRO, David worked for a ski resort. Outside of work, David enjoys snowboarding, spending time with his family, and house projects. David is a hard worker and wants to succeed in every job he manages and performs, and his family and children inspire him to do the best he can every day. He contributes to the customer experience by providing a walk-through of the process to the customer, all while explaining and answering any questions the customer may have.

Omar is a Crew Chief at SERVPRO of El Dorado Hills/Placerville, and has been working since February of 2020. As a crew chief, he communicates with the production manager and customers in a timely manner for every job, manages the job sites he is allocated along with the team of technicians, and ensures that the job runs smoothly, either meeting or exceeding the customer’s expectations. Omar has been in the world of construction, remodeling, demolition, and maintenance since he was 12. Before working with us, he was a painter for an interior and exterior painting company. Outside of work, Omar is passionate about boxing, and has been actively participating in the sport since 2009. Since then, he has participated in three golden glove tournaments and ranked 17 in California. He takes pride in his work and desires to be efficient everyday. When he is out in the field, he works hard to make sure the operation runs accordingly without any delays. He contributes to the customer by communicating regularly with them and helping them understand the process of his work. Omar always tries to find a connection with each customer to make them feel comfortable and to help them through a tough situation.

Sydney is the Administrative Assistant at SERVPRO of El Dorado Hills/Placerville. She has been working with SERVPRO since July of 2023 where she intakes customer calls, data entry for all types of communication such as by phone and email, updating insurance carriers, and job file auditing. To contribute to the customer experience, she establishes rapport with customers and communicates on a daily basis to keep the work process moving forward until job completion. Prior to working with SERVPRO, she was a “broista” at Dutch Bros for four years where she cultivated relationships with regular customers and made hand crafted coffee. She has an Associates Degree in General Business Management and Administration from Woodland Community Collection which taught her the necessary skills and knowledge to handle the day-to-day operations of a business. In her spare time, she enjoys photography, skating, gaming, readings, cooking, and going to the movies. Sydney’s biggest motivation is her family and friends who inspire and motivate her to work hard and strive to do her best.
