9-Year-Old Racing Phenom Brexton Busch Faces Off in Historic Race Against Father, NASCAR Legend Kyle Busch
SALISBURY, NC – MARCH 27, 2025 — SERVPRO proudly celebrated an unforgettable moment in racing history as 9-year-old Brexton Busch challenged his father, NASCAR legend Kyle Busch, in the highly anticipated "Battle of the Busches" at Millbridge Speedway.
On Wednesday, March 26, racing fans witnessed a historic showdown as Kyle Busch (#51) faced off against his son Brexton Busch (#18B) in an electrifying display of generational racing talent. The event showcased the remarkable Busch family's deep-rooted racing legacy that spans three generations, with young Brexton following in his family's racing ways.
SERVPRO began its partnership with Brexton in 2020, making him one of the youngest sponsored athletes in history. Since then, Brexton’s career has continued to grow as his skills developed, and his social media presence has captured the hearts of millions of racing fans across the country.
Fans watched as the young racer demonstrated exceptional skill and composure throughout the race, finishing sixth. Although he finished behind his father, Kyle, who finished third, the race further solidified Brexton's status as one of the most promising young drivers in junior racing circuits.
“We are thrilled to have witnessed this incredible moment of father-son competition that the racing world has been anticipating since Brexton first stepped into a racecar,” said Rob Rajkowski, chief marketing officer for SERVPRO. “The Battle of the Busches represents the true spirit of motorsports – passion, skill, and family tradition.”
Brexton's impressive achievements continue to mount, including:
- Tulsa Shootout Jr. Sprint Championship winner
- First Golden Driller trophy recipient
- 7 race wins and 14 top-5 finishes in the 2025 season
- 48 total race wins in 2024
- 126 top-10 finishes
- 107 top-5 placements
- Multiple racing category championships
“We have been so proud to see Brexton grow up, becoming a more skilled racer each year. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for his career,” Rajkowski added.
The race at Millbridge Speedway will be the first of hopefully many, further showcasing the continued excellence of the Busch racing legacy and proving that racing talent runs deep in the Busch family.
Brexton, who will turn 10 in May, is the son of driver and two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch and author and entrepreneur Samantha Busch. In 2024, Brexton signed a three-year contract extension which will keep the young racer in green and orange through 2026.
