Mulligan Program to elevate pro-am experience supporting First Responders Children’s Foundation
Partnership includes additional investment in player-focused initiatives, direct athlete partnerships
GALLATIN, Tenn. and DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Feb. 1, 2024 – The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) and SERVPRO, a leading cleanup and restoration services provider, are excited to announce a multi-year partnership that designates SERVPRO as the Official Mulligan Partner and Official Cleanup and Restoration Company of the LPGA.
As part of this collaboration, SERVPRO will activate at four LPGA Tour tournaments, taking center stage through the prestigious role of presenting sponsor for the military area, known as the Hero Outpost, and the Mulligan program during tournament pro-ams. The Hero Outpost provides a complimentary hospitality area for local first responders and military to enjoy the Tournament. The innovative Mulligan program introduces a charitable element to the pro-am competition. On a designated par-3 hole, participating teams will have the opportunity to purchase a SERVPRO-branded ball for an additional shot, with all proceeds benefiting the First Responders Children’s Foundation.
"Partnering with the LPGA is a natural fit for SERVPRO as we continue to expand our presence in sports sponsorships,” said SERVPRO's CEO Brett T. Ponton. “We are particularly excited about the Mulligan program during pro-am, which not only adds an element of fun to the game but also supports a cause that is close to our hearts."
As part of the partnership, SERVPRO will work with the LPGA to allocate additional investment to player initiatives, including direct player partnerships. This reflects the LPGA’s ongoing commitment for new partnerships to include player-focused benefits and builds on SERVRPRO’s existing partnership with LPGA Tour athlete Emma Talley, who has served as a SERVPRO brand ambassador since 2023.
"We are thrilled to welcome SERVPRO as a valued partner of the LPGA,” said LPGA Commissioner Mollie Marcoux Samaan. “The company’s commitment to excellence and community aligns seamlessly with our values. The LPGA is known to have the best pro-ams in the business and our new SERVPRO Mulligan program will create even more excitement and energy on these special days. We could not be more grateful for SERVPRO’s innovative commitment to giving back and for their passion for supporting our athletes as they strive to realize their dreams."
Since 2018, SERVPRO has been actively involved in supporting LPGA Tour events, including the JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro and the ShopRite LPGA Classic presented by Acer. In addition to its commitment to the LPGA, SERVPRO serves as the Official Cleanup and Restoration Company for the PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions, with Ambassadors Brandt Snedeker and Tim O’Neal and sponsorship of events like the CHUBB Classic presented by SERVPRO.
