Mel Kitchens
Meet Little Mel, our Production Manager. He has been with SERVPRO since 2013. He has been certified in SERVPRO crew training, IICRC in Water Damage and Restoration, and carpet and upholstery. Recently, he received IICRC certification in Applied Structural Drying.
If Little Mel could pick one person who has been a hero in his life it would be his Pop pop. He is the first Mintford and if it wasn’t for him he wouldn’t be Mintford Lamar Kitchens lll. He also served our country in the Air Force which means a lot to me.
The Gangs all Here!
The Gangs all here! The SERVPRO team enjoying fun and fellowship at The Palms in Newberry, SC. Getting the team together is very important for our business. We are family and getting to spend time together outside the normal workday is an extra bonus. The food was excellent, and the company was even better!

Tiki Sims
We are so pleased to have Tiki Sims join our team as a permanent team member. She has been working with us as a temp since July 2023. Her infectious smile and willful attitude brings joy to all she interacts with. Tiki is a proud mother to Haeidyn 11. Tiki's hero's are her parents. They never tell her no, the best parents ever!
Katie Young
Meet our one newest employee Katie Young, Production Technician. Katie previously worked for a SERVPRO in Northern Michigan. We are so happy she joined our team in July 2023. When she is not with us serving as a hero to our customers she is busy being a mom to her two daughters, Isabella 5 and Paisley 3. Katies hero is her father, a retired Marine. He has been her rock since her mothers passing.

Detron "Tron" Workman
Meet Tron, he is one of our Production Technicians.
His signature is definitely his smile. He enjoys playing video games with his kids. Ahmir 2 and Zyaire 1. His Grandpa is his hero because he is Tron's father figure in his life. Thank Tron for always lifting up others with your signature smile!
Logan Johnson Crew Chief
Meet Logan Johnson one of Water Restoration Crew Chiefs. Logan has been part of the SERVPRO system since 2021. Logan's hero is his father. Logan admires the fact that his dad is a successful businessman.

The guys did an excellent job of making our couch look new again!! With 3 dogs, a husband and throw in 2020 it was time!! We also had all of our area rugs cleaned, they have them looking and smelling phenomenal.
Lastly, they transformed carpet in our bonus room! Now it is clean and fresh!!
I cannot recommend SERVPRO of Newberry and Laurens enough!!

Mel and Kimberly Kitchens- originally from South Florida – moved to South Carolina in 2004. The love of water – boating and small communities brought them to Lake Murray. Both previously in the transportation industry they understand the importance of relationships. They have established roots in the communities that they serve. "We go into our customers' homes and businesses, and they become family and friends" a quote when asked what they love most about their business.
