To name a few Denmark Technical College , Voorhees University, Dogwood Festival, Jim Harrison Museum and the Wee Bake Bakery Shop. Denmark Technical College is a public historically black, two year technical college located in Denmark South Carolina. Denmark Technical College was established in 1947 and began operation on March 1, 1948. Elizabeth Evelyn Wright, founded Voorhees University. It started off as Voorhees School in 1947. In 1962 it was accredited as a four year college and it was called Voorhees College. In 2022 it became Voorhees University. The Dogwood Festival is a family oriented festival hosted every year in the spring. It is a two day event full of games, prizes, contest, rides, live entertainment and food. The Jim Harrison Museum is a gallery of all Mr. Harrisons art that he created. Mr. Harrison did pass away in 2016 but his work still lives on thanks to his wife Margaret Harrison. Last but not least, The Wee Bake Bakery Shop. They are open Wednesday through Saturday. The pricing is very reasonable. They only offer takeout. Dine in services are not available. The winter storm that caused snow everywhere else resulted in a lot of rain for us. The excessive rain caused water to seep into my basement. The floor was covered in water when I contacted SERVPRO of Orangeburg. The guys showed up in a timely manner explained everything before starting. They were very efficient. I also really appreciated the follow-up phone call to ensure my satisfaction. Keep up the good work. If we get these 3 inches of rain that is forecast overnight I will be calling back on Wednesday.
Mike Shea is a great leader and oversees his project from beginning to end. Both crews worked well and fast and were able to complete a hard job. They went above and beyond their work load and were a joy to be around. Manners were excetionable and they were always willing to explain and work around our needs.
On November 8th, I had SERVPRO of Orangeburg come and clean my carpet. The two guys, Max and Michael, did a Super..Super job. They were promptly on time and my carpet looked great. Since the new ownership, 2016, SERVPRO of Orangeburg has only gotten greater. Will be using them again.
