Before being settled by European settlers, the area that is now Bainbridge was home to Conoy and Nanticoke First Nation tribes as they had previously been displaced by more eastern settlements.
Today Bainbridge boasts two natural tourism spots, White Cliffs and Koser Park. The White Cliffs of Conoy, which are directly south of Bainbridge, overlook the Susquehanna River and are made of limestone, the direct result of a nearby limestone quarry.
Koser Park is the starting point of a 15-mile paved trail that runs along the Susquehanna River and through nearby towns like Colombia and Marietta.
