Kiefer, Oklahoma, placed in east-central Creek County, is six miles southeast of Sapulpa. Originally known as Praper, Kiefer was voted to be incorporated on November 20th, 1908, and grew as an oil-boom town after the development of the Glenn Pool field in 1905. In its early days, a streetcar / interurban rail line that connected Tulsa to Sapulpa ran a route through the middle Kiefer’s township and still serves as an industrial rail line today.

Established only 18 miles from the famous Gathering Place Park and less than 30 miles from the Tulsa International Airport, Kiefer offers home style restaurant options as well as beautiful landscape to enjoy by all.
