We were in process of buying a home and were slightly concerned about the odor in the basement in the home we were interested in. A friend of mine suggested we called SERVPRO to take a look a the home and get their professional perspective on the situation. Bill, the Owner of SERVPRO of Glen Cove / Jericho was an excellent resource and was very easy to work with. he was able to work around my schedule and the real estate agents schedule and meet us at the home we were interested in. He gave us his professional opinion on the situation and told us the correct steps that we should take including have the area tested by an environmental hygienist would be the only way to determine the level of mold in the home. Taking his advise we moved forward with getting a mold assessment and it turned out the home was mold infested and mold remediation and repair work would cost in excess of $50,000. We were able to walk away from the deal and continue our search. The level of professionalism and knowledge displayed by Bill was amazing and we cant thank SERVPRO enough for the assistance in this situation.

Our basement was saturated when we returned home from vacation and we had no idea what to do. A friend of ours told us to call SERVPRO of Glen Cove / Jericho and they were fantastic. SERVPRO was at our home within 2 hours of calling them and took care of everything. The basement was cleaned and dried out, all of our contents that was damaged was carted away, no debris was left behind and the best part of the entire situation was they billed our insurance company direct and were paid direct of the work they completed. Thank you SERVPRO for making this disaster a little bit easier to handle. Keep up the good work.
We had a small water leak in our basement from an old water valve. The carpet was wet in a small area and we were advised to call SERVPRO of Glen Cove / Jericho. When the crew arrived we asked them the cost of the project and they stated it was a minimum charge of $550.00. We agreed on the price and let them proceed with the work they had to do. After drying up the carpet as much as they could they placed a fan under the carpet and let it sit blowing under the carpet through the night. They came back to our house the next afternoon and removed the fan and placed are carpet back in place and the job was done. Thank you SERVPRO for your fast response and reasonable rate of service. We will definitely use you and recommend you in the future.
Thanks for working with us and being so flexible on scheduling to allow us to continue operating while the work was finished. You guys really know how to work with businesses that need to keep their doors open. And the odors are completely gone. Our customers would never have known there was a problem.
I was having a mold issue in the apartment that I was renting and called SERVPRO of Glen Cove / Jericho to come and evaluate the situation. Bill from SERVPRO came to my home on time and was very helpful in explaining to me the procedures for Mold Remediation and what steps he recommended to take. Being that I do not own the home I was unable to have the work done at this time but I was very happy that I called SERVPRO and for some solid advice.
