He gave us his professional opinion on the situation and told us the correct steps that we should take including have the area tested by an environmental hygienist would be the only way to determine the level of mold in the home. Taking his advise we moved forward with getting a mold assessment and it turned out the home was mold infested and mold remediation and repair work would cost in excess of $50,000. We were able to walk away from the deal and continue our search. The level of professionalism and knowledge displayed by Bill was amazing and we cant thank SERVPRO enough for the assistance in this situation.

Our basement was saturated when we returned home from vacation and we had no idea what to do. A friend of ours told us to call SERVPRO of Glen Cove / Jericho and they were fantastic. SERVPRO was at our home within 2 hours of calling them and took care of everything. The basement was cleaned and dried out, all of our contents that was damaged was carted away, no debris was left behind and the best part of the entire situation was they billed our insurance company direct and were paid direct of the work they completed. We had a small water leak in our basement from an old water valve. The carpet was wet in a small area and we were advised to call SERVPRO of Glen Cove / Jericho. When the crew arrived we asked them the cost of the project and they stated it was a minimum charge of $550.00. We agreed on the price and let them proceed with the work they had to do. After drying up the carpet as much as they could they placed a fan under the carpet and let it sit blowing under the carpet through the night. They came back to our house the next afternoon and removed the fan and placed are carpet back in place and the job was done. Thank you SERVPRO for your fast response and reasonable rate of service.
