History of Mills River
Mills River, North Carolina is a rural town located in Henderson County. The town was settled in early 1795 by Colonel John Mills and General James Williams. Mills River received its name from this expedition, which resulted in the establishment of more than 60 mills upstream on the French Broad River. In 1970, there were fewer than 500 residents, but today the population has grown to over 2,600 and is constantly growing! It is named after a small tributary to Nolichucky River and is a common destination for whitewater rafters due to its proximity to whitewater rivers such as the French Broad.

Water damage never happens at a good time but SERVPRO made this experience much easier to live with. They called within an hour of me notifying my insurance company and would have come out that night but I decided the next day would be so enough and they were out with a team early the next morning. They packed and inventoried all damaged items and dried the basement with equipment. What a first class group of folks. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND SERVPRO to friends and neighbors!!!!!!! Great Job SERVPRO!!!!!
