History of Etowah
Etowah, North Carolina can trace its history back to the earliest days of America. The first settlers arrived in Etowah as early as 1750 when they constructed a fort here on the banks of the Etowah River. Settlers came to the area in the 1830s and built homes on land that became Etowah around 1871. In 1871, the town of Etowah was incorporated as a town and became a city in 1890. The first postmaster of Etowah was Daniel Connelly. Today, Etowah boasts a rich and diverse culture that has shaped its identity as a community, including deep German Lutheran roots, hardworking Appalachian farmers, and present-day artists and entrepreneurs who are redefining how we live.

Water damage never happens at a good time but SERVPRO made this experience much easier to live with. They called within an hour of me notifying my insurance company and would have come out that night but I decided the next day would be so enough and they were out with a team early the next morning. They packed and inventoried all damaged items and dried the basement with equipment. What a first class group of folks. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND SERVPRO to friends and neighbors!!!!!!! Great Job SERVPRO!!!!!
