History of Balfour
The history of Balfour, North Carolina is a long and rich one. The town was founded in the late 1800s and has been home to various generations of families ever since. Records indicate that the earliest settlement of Balfour was around 1730 by 18-year-old Emma Parsons who built the first house and was later followed by many more settlers. The area remained wilderness through most of the 1700s until it began to develop into what is now Balfour during the very early years of the 1900s. The town started growing by leaps and bounds during this time period until it reached its peak in 1920's where it had about 2,500 inhabitants living there in 1929.

Water damage never happens at a good time but SERVPRO made this experience much easier to live with. They called within an hour of me notifying my insurance company and would have come out that night but I decided the next day would be so enough and they were out with a team early the next morning. They packed and inventoried all damaged items and dried the basement with equipment. What a first class group of folks. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND SERVPRO to friends and neighbors!!!!!!! Great Job SERVPRO!!!!!
