The little city of Plattsburg is a nice town in north Missouri. With a total population of approximately 2,214 people there are not many strangers in their community. If they had a water damage or fire damage word would spread quickly. Everyone knows each other and runs into each other at the local aquatic center parks or community center. They have an aquatic center that is part of the swimming pool complex. The aquatic center offers swimming lessons locally as well as pool parties and season passes. There are 3 community parks throughout Plattsburg. Grafton and Fireman's parks are located on north side of Plattsburg and Ted Moore park is located on the south side of town. Perkins Park is the largest of the parks, it offers 2 playgrounds, 3 shelters, (and Gazebo)
ball fields, soccer fields, tennis court and concession stand! Also new to the park is a walking trail. In the summer it is host to Rec program, Summer Ball and numerous Community events! The neighboring town has a basketball court, racquetball court, pickleball court and meeting room. There are a lot of options for such a small community and it's a great asset to have. The town of Plattsburg has trails located in the community park. There are several spaces for outdoor family fun including the local golf course. SERVPRO is grateful to get to know the community members and help with their needs locally. No one wants to have a water damage restoration and fire damage restoration occur residentially or commercially, but it's nice to have a service leader available if the event arises.
