With a total area of almost exactly 1 square mile of land, Williamsport, Maryland is a very small town. Because of this, there is a wonderful rural feel when you enter Williamsport with a lovely, relaxed pace. The town is situated near Hagerstown, Maryland and Martinsburg, West Virginia, so there is easy access to any sort of city life as well.
Williamsport became a strong water town when the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal (C&O Canal) was extended to the area in 1835. This went on until 1924 when a large caused so much damage to the canal that it was shut down in Williamsport and other areas.
In 2010, Michael Sparks began an initiative to attract tourism to the area, outlining a revitalization with the acronym C.A.R.E. Over the next year, vast infrastructural improvements were made to Williamsport and many quality of life changes were made such as handicap accessibility, additional bike lanes, and traffic light optimization.

I was then responded to by Rhonda from Boonsboro and her Team arrived first thing on September 3. Excellent communication, exceptional Team Members offering compassion and due diligence in handling my property. Highly recommended for Disaster Recovery... Kudos
