It is mostly known for its dairy farms, apple orchards, and for being a hospital town during the American Civil War. After the Battle of Antietam took place in Sharpsburg, Maryland, wounded soldiers from both sides were taken to Smithsburg to be doctored and taken care of.

I was then responded to by Rhonda from Boonsboro and her Team arrived first thing on September 3. Excellent communication, exceptional Team Members offering compassion and due diligence in handling my property. Highly recommended for Disaster Recovery... Kudos
