What Is the Mold Remediation Process?
Air Filtration
Our specialized filtration equipment allows our professionals to capture microscopic mold spores out of the air. We utilize powerful “air scrubbers” and HEPA vacuums to prevent the spread of these mold spores while the mold remediation is in process.
Removing Mold and Mold-Infested Materials
We use antifungal and antimicrobial treatments to treat mold colonies. When necessary to remediate heavy mold growth, our mold removal process includes the removal and disposal of mold-infested porous materials such as carpeting, drywall, and insulation.
Cleaning
Our professionals clean the structural elements that were infected by mold such as flooring, framing, fixtures, HVAC and mechanical systems. We are all aware that we had some nor’ eastern storms in the area which has cause a lot of damage to a lot of homes. My problem was that my sub pump failed and we had flooding in our basement. When we call our insurance they recommend a service. I understand that due to the storms all companies where busy but they never answered the phone and refused to give an exact estimate.
Needless to say SERVPRO TO THE RESCUE!!!!! Even though they were busy, they listen to what we needed called me back when they got answers and emailed over quotes when I asked. They came in and did the demo and cleaned everything out in about 4 hours. I felt comfortable leaving them in my home when I went to work and everything was completely within 3 day of calling them for the job. Also a BIG plus Is that they come in 50% lower then what the other company was trying to throw out as a number.
I highly recommend SERVPRO. Jordin and his apprentice were great to work with and you could tell he has been doing this for a while and really knows what he talking about. Also they were very carful about my cats and to make sure they didn’t go outside.
