Lawrence, KS is located in North Eastern Kansas between the Kansas River and the Wakarusa River. It is the sixth largest city in the state and is only about 30 minutes from the state capital. Lawrence was the site of the Wakarusa War in 1855 and the Sacking of Lawrence in 1856. Lawrence is home to two universities- the University of Kansas founded in 1865 and Haskell Indian Nations University founded in 1884. He came back to remove the equipment and did so while we were gone and we totally trusted him to be there. He even fed Charlie on his way out and put him back in the house.
