Donnellson, Iowa is a community of approximately 875 citizens. It was named after Esten A. Donnell, a surveyor in the region and was incorporated on October 25th, 1892. It is located in Lee County.
Donnellson is home to Lee County Speedway, which holds races every Friday night during the season. Late Models, Modifieds, Stock Cars, SportMods, and Sport Compacts race here. It is located at the Lee County Fairgrounds on the North edge of town.
Although Donnellson is a small town, the Lee County Fair is held here annually in July. It has everything from a car show and demolition derby, along with many other activities.
Harvestville Farm is a must see in the fall. It is part of a fifth-generation family farm located 1.2 miles east of Donnellson. Their mission is to provide a fun, safe, and educationally based rural experience for families by offering unique hands-on agricultural related activities.

They were there within a couple of hours, boarded our windows up, tarped our roof and fixed a few other little things around the outside of our home that the storm damaged. We were so happy with their quick response time and how they made us feel so safe and comfortable with the work they performed for us. Would recommend to anyone!
