What Is the Mold Remediation Process?

Our specialized filtration equipment allows our professionals to capture microscopic mold spores out of the air. We utilize powerful “air scrubbers” and HEPA vacuums to prevent the spread of these mold spores while the mold remediation is in process.
Removing Mold and Mold-Infested Materials
We use antifungal and antimicrobial treatments to treat mold colonies. When necessary to remediate heavy mold growth, our mold removal process includes the removal and disposal of mold-infested porous materials such as carpeting, drywall, and insulation.

The technicians arrived promptly, took the necessary readings to determine the extent and location of the damage, and set up their equipment to get the two rooms dried out quickly. They called ahead to let me know when they would be returning. Brittany in the office was also very efficient.
I appreciated that the technicians arrived wearing face masks and kept them on while in the apartment, without having to be asked. Also, Brittany asked me before scheduling the first appointment whether there was any Covid-19 risk in this apartment. It is excellent that SERVPRO of Lake County is taking good care of its employees and customers during the pandemic.
