Terry
Terry has over 19 years of experience working with SERVPRO as an Operations Manager and General Manager at SERVPRO of Laporte and Porter Counties in Michigan City, Indiana. A few years ago, he relocated to Lake County with his wife, Nancy, and is now the Marketing Manager here at SERVPRO of Lake County. In his spare time, Terry loves to golf. The Dallas Cowboys are his favorite football team.
Dave
Dave is our Project Manager on the Production team. He has lived in Lake County for over 35 years and is happy to be a part of the SERVPRO of Lake County team. Dave is certified with the IICRC as a water remediation technician and applied structural drying. Dave's favorite part of this job is being able to help people in a time of need. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family. Dave is a proud father of 2 boys, a dog and a cat. He also enjoys riding motorcycles. He is a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Dave says "I look forward to serving you when needed!"
Nick Gibart
Nick is our Job file coordinator. He works directly with our Crew Chiefs to ensure proper documentation is collected onsite for our customers and clients. He also helps out the office and field staff with technology related questions. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family in the outdoors.
Tina
Tina has been with SERVPRO of Lake County for a number of years. She is commonly found on fire and soot cleaning jobs that require high detail. She is also the one everyone prefers to lead on a pack out on job. In her spare time Tina loves to do puzzles.
Lisa Smallwood
Lisa is one of our production technicians at SERVPRO of Lake County. She specializes in cleaning, so she is commonly found on our fire/soot and content cleaning jobs. In her free time, Lisa loves spending time with her 5 grandchildren and she loves going to the beach.
Ronald Legall
Ronald is one of our Production Technicians here at SERVPRO of Lake County. He has over 17 years of experience in the restoration industry! Ronald loves to spend his free time with his wife and grandkids.
Zach Brewer
Zach is our construction manager and has over 22 years experience. He started working for his father building Church's along with other commercial projects. His father was his mentor in the construction field. Zach is married and resides in Eustis Florida. In his spare time he likes to Golf and watch Football.
Melissa McCarthy
My name is Melissa McCarthy, and I am the Office Manager. I have recently moved back to Lake County after living in North Georgia for the last 28 yrs. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education but left the field in 2012. Since then, I have been an Office Manager for a large HVAC company and an Electrical Contractor. When I was young, I loved playing “school” and “office”, so I guess you could say that I have lived out my dreams! In my past time, I enjoy traveling, thrifting, watching my Georgia Bulldog football, but mostly, spending time with my friends and family. I love that I get to be a part of a company that makes a positive difference for our clients when they are going through some tough times. I also love that I am working with a company that cares about their employees just as much as they care about their clients and am looking forward to many years together.
Brandon Russell
Brandon has been on our SERVPRO team since November 2023 and has a total of 2 plus years restoration experience. In his free time he loves to Golf, swim and spend free time with his family. He is also an avid football fan.
Micheal Lavigne
Michael is a live long resident and has 30 years in experience the reconstruction industry Michael has been with SERVPRO for a year and is a great asset to our team. Michael loves to fish and enjoys sports on his days off.
Aubrey (River) Dean
Aubrey is a Florida Native, She has a lot of experience in numerous things and are grateful to have her on our team. She loves being in and around water and has done a lot of hiking adventures. She is passionate about conservation and rehabilitation. Her dog is her best friend and her son is her side kick.
Steve Brennan
Steve Brennan has been with us around a month. He already has become a great asset to our company. Steve is originally from New York and now has been here for 17 years now. He likes going to concerts and going to workout at the Gym.
Nicolas Benavides
Nicolas is originally from Venezuela, He has been in the United States for 3 years and its been a extraordinary experience to be in our great country. He is a person committed to quality work and he loves and is always committed to team work. He loves Music and in his free time he exercises and enjoys nature. He is a great asset to our team.
Erick Vargas
Eric is originally from Venezuela, he's been in the United States for 2 years. He is a very responsible employee and is always committed to work. He enjoys all aspects of this type of work and finds it very rewarding, especially when the customer is very grateful for all the hard work. He loves listening to good music and stresses that he never gives up on his goals. Erick is a great asset to our company.

From the moment the people came out to take a look at the mold problem in my home it has been a pleasure they are a great company to work with very educated about mold problems and explain in a way that a lay person can understand. Everyone at this company from Mike the man that came out to do the estimate down to the three guys that came and did the cleaning of the floors it's been an awesome experience. My husband had died unexpectedly, then I had an accident that required stitches in my foot, and now, the washing machine overflowed, filling into my laundry room, breakfast nook, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and closet. I used a push broom to push the water into the garage and immediately called my insurance company. One of the choices for water mitigation was SERVPRO. Brittany answered the phone. She was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and articulate. She explained exactly what would happen, and the techs would be at my house within 30 minutes. The techs, Dave and Jeremy, arrived promptly and notified me by phone. They were very compassionate and explained everything to me calmly and in great detail. I felt well informed. All transactions and documents were communicated to my insurance company to me in writing each step of the way. I felt taken care of by very professional, kind, responsive, people who made you feel you were the most important part of their day. Dave and Jeremy worked quickly and efficiently to remove my laminate flooring while taking care to place items safely out of harm's way. The clean up was performed as quietly and seamlessly as possible. Both men worked as a hand-in-glove team. They even moved my recycling bin to the curb. Such gentlemen. My dog got a head scratch from them and she thought they were nice as well. They showed great skill, great attitudes, and great smiles. I am very grateful to SERVPRO for making an extremely difficult time bearable and safe.
When we had a badly leaking water pipe in our guest bathroom. The vanity had to be removed before a plumber could fix the pipe. We are so happy that we called SERVPRO of Lake County as they had a service team out within hours. After removing the vanity, they had a plan to take care of the water damage in the bathroom and wet carpeting in the hallway and followed up daily to monitor the progress as promised. Our technician and his helpers were very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. From the beginning to the end service was above and beyond our expectations.
Dave and Tobias came after my silly mistake 9f leaving an unattended hose filling a spa in my Florida room. They were professional and courteous. They are the best and considering this was at 8:30 on a Saturday night can't say how grateful and pleased I am to them and SERVPRO I hope I never need them again but if I do they will definitely be who I rely on.
