Crestview, Florida, is the county seat of Okaloosa County, located in the Florida panhandle. Crestview has one of the highest elevations in Florida, coming in at 235 feet above sea level. After the Pensacola and Atlantic Railroad Company opened a line in 1883 between Pensacola and Chattahoochee, Crestview began growing. Today it is home to about 25,000 people.
