The original community occupied land that was part of the vast, ill-defined Westmoreland County area first settled by Europeans in 1742. Various names were used for this area, including "Falls Township", "Sugarloaf Township" (named for its geographic shape), and "Franklin Township", before finally becoming Gallitzin on March 15, 1806. The town's manufacturing sector has helped it maintain a high level of employment during the recession and into the recovery period. The geography of this area is mostly flat. Gallitzin has a moderate climate with hot summers and cold winters. Gallitzin is known for its spectacular scenery, great schools and friendly people.

He was kind and very open minded to anything that we wanted! He definitely puts his customers first, and did what he could to make sure we were pleased with the final outcome! Rusty and Rick were a two man crew, who primarily did all of our work! They both were very exceptional to work with! They spent a lot of time on the details, and making sure we were happy with everything before they would even start certain projects in the bathroom! There were some minor issues that they ran into with it being an older bathroom. They overcame any obstacles that they faced with this remodel! We had an image of what we wanted our bathroom to look like at the end, and it is definitely what we wanted and always wished for! We are all very pleased and appreciative of all the hard work that went into making this possible for us! Thank you so much guys!
