Supporting First Responders

First responders make the extraordinary commitment to risk their lives to keep our communities safe each day. SERVPRO is honored to support them and to celebrate them for the difficult, stressful, and heroic work they do.

Supporting the Families of First Responders

SERVPRO is the Official Cleanup and Restoration Company of the First Responders Children’s Foundation (FRCF) and the Lead Partner for its Natural Disaster Relief Program. The foundation provides financial support to children who have lost a parent in the line of duty as well as families enduring significant financial hardship due to tragic circumstances. FRCF facilitates educational activities in partnership with first responder organizations to benefit children or the community at large. The organization also provides a mental health program to first responder families free of charge. Learn more about the organization on their website.

SERVPRO funds grants for the families and scholarships for the children of first responders. The golf tournament at our annual convention is a fundraiser for FRCF, and several franchises also host golf tournament for their benefit. Both SERVPRO Headquarters and our franchises host Toy Express events in partnership with FRCF to bring toys and joy to children in need during the holiday season. In October, we are proud to be the title sponsor of FRCF’s National First Responders Day event in Times Square—a celebration of our nation’s heroes.

When disaster strikes, SERVPRO and the First Responders Children’s Foundation provide assistance to the communities and first responders impacted, through both emergency hardship grants and relief events. Firefighter Challenge League

The Firefighter Challenge League is a premier sports event organization that hosts competitive events, promoting firefighters’ physical fitness and mental toughness while showcasing their skills and commitment to the communities they serve. Touted by ESPN as “the toughest two minutes in sports,” the FCL aims to reach new heights in promoting fitness, camaraderie, and the spirit of competition among firefighting professionals nationwide with SERVPRO’s partnership. The partnership between SERVPRO and the Firefighter Challenge League reinforces SERVPRO’s commitment to supporting first responders.

PGA TOUR®

SERVPRO works with the PGA TOUR® in honoring our everyday heroes. SERVPRO sponsors a Hero Outpost at the Texas Valero Open in San Antonio every year. This allows our military members and first responders to take a break from the stress of their work to relax physically and mentally in a peaceful environment.

LPGA

SERVPRO is proud to be the Official Mulligan Partner of the LPGA. The Mulligan program introduces a charitable element to pro-am competitions. On a designated par-3 hole, participating teams have the opportunity to purchase a SERVPRO-branded ball for an additional shot, with all proceeds benefiting the First Responders Children’s Foundation. As part of this collaboration, SERVPRO sponsors the Hero Outpost, a complimentary hospitality area for local first responders and members of the military.

Football for a Cause: The SERVPRO First Responder Bowl

We are proud to present the SERVPRO® First Responder Bowl, a college bowl game held annually in Dallas, Texas, to honor the service and sacrifice of America’s first responders. These individuals are everyday heroes with specialized training, who put their lives on the line to serve their neighbors and communities across the nation when disaster strikes. SERVPRO teammates and the public nominate first responders to be considered for special recognition at the game. One nominee is selected to be honored with an all-expenses-paid trip to the game where they are presented with an award during a ceremony on the field. The SERVPRO First Responder Bowl also has a virtual Everyday Heroes Wall that honors these courageous people in our communities. Do You Want to Honor a First Responder?

The SERVPRO Honor a Responder Program is an opportunity where SERVPRO treats a first responder and their family to a college bowl game and recognize their hard work and sacrifice during an on-field presentation. Fourteen bowl games from Hawaii to North Carolina have agreed to support the SERVPRO Honor a Responder Program during their games.
