Castle Point is a Hamlet in Dutchess County, lying just North of Beacon and just South of Fishkill. It has a total area of less than 3 miles but is mere minutes from major facilities like The Castle Point VA Hospital, Renegades Minor League Baseball Stadium and the peaceful and educational Stony Kill Farm.

Homestead of the Verplanck family in 1708, designated on the National Register of Historic Places and currently owned and managed by NYS Department of Environmental Conservation. Not only historic but open to the public daily, this treasure has plenty of livestock to view, seminars, seasonal events, homeschooling programs, summer camps, workshops, and outings!
