Located just South of Stevens Point, WI, Plover was originally named Au-puh-ki-ra-kan-e-we-se-be, meaning “river of flags”. Plover was established as a village in 1844. It was a popular stopping point on the stage couch route in the 1850’s. It’s known for it’s large agricultural area and growing infrastructure.
Today, there are about 12,500 people living in Plover and it’s home to a Wisconsin Badger and US Olympic hockey player, Joe Pavelski. It is ranked among the 50 best cities to live in the U.S. Both the Wisconsin and Little Plover rivers run through the town. Local attractions include the Korean War Veterans Memorial and O’so Brewing Company.
There is no shortage of walking, hiking, or biking trails to enjoy the great outdoors in the Central Wisconsin area. Plover has 20 different parks, area totaling 218 acres. The Green Circle Trail is not far from Plover. It is a 31 mile long scenic trail along the rivers, wetlands, prairies, and quite neighborhoods. The Tomorrow River State Trail is a 29 mile rail trail that travels through the glacial and farm terrain just outside of Plover. To the west, you will find Golden Sands Raceway. To the east, you will find Standing Rocks County Park and Winter Recreation Area.
Other towns that are close by are Whiting, Arnott, Stockton, Keene, and Coddington.

I would give SERVPRO 10 stars if I could! We had a dishwasher install gone wrong and our finished basement had significant water damage. I called SERVPRO and they were here the next day to dry everything out. They were extremely responsive and came every single day to check on the drying process in the kitchen and basement. They were extremely flexible with scheduling the repairs. Looking at the finished project, you’d never know we had any sort of damage at all. All of the staff is very professional and friendly. If you have water damage, they are the ones to call!!

I had frozen pipes last winter and the crew went above and beyond to make my spare bedroom and laundry room look so much better than it did before the damage. The crew didn't hesitate to move furniture to different rooms when asked. I am so pleased, I tell everyone about SERVPRO. They are DEFFINATELY a "class act"!!!

I have dealt with every company in Central Wisconsin many times as an adjuster and nobody provides the spot on services that SERVPRO of Stevens Point, Wausau, and Marshfield does. They are a one stop shop that gets jobs done. The work on my property was great! In our area they are the only serious choice when it comes to insurance claim work.

He wasn’t pushy and listened to what we needed done and didn’t pressure us into anything extra. He answered all of our questions and was there the day after we called.
