De Pere Cleanup and Restoration

SERVPRO Brown County actively helps the De Pere community in fire restoration, water restoration, and mold remediation.

De Pere is a suburb of Green Bay, Wisconsin, located in Brown County. The Fox River splits the suburb in two, De Pere and West De Pere. Locals will be quick to correct you in lighthearted vein if you happen to refer to the two as East and West De Pere, as only West De Pere gets the cardinal direction. The east side of town is simply referred to as just ‘De Pere.’ The city of De Pere holds an annual, weekend-long, celebration of the two cities uniting as one in 1890 and is called Celebrate De Pere. Celebrate De Pere’s first event was in 1990 to commemorate the 100^th anniversary of the city, occurring each May at Voyageur Park.

The staple of De Pere is Saint Norbert College, a private, Liberal Arts College founded in 1898 by Abbot Pennings, a Norbertine priest and educator. St. Norbert College is named after Saint Norbert of Xanten, the founder of the Norbertine order in Prémontré, now known as Germany. St. Norbert College, known as SNC by community members, has an undergrad enrollment of around 2,000 students with 86 percent of those students living on campus in college-owned housing. Of those 2,000 students, over 600 of them are student-athletes. Known as the “Green Knights,” St. Norbert has a successful background in athletics, predominantly in men’s hockey as they have won 5 national championships with the first being in 2005. Head coach of the team is 6x NCHA Coach of the Year, Tim Coglin, who will be coaching his 30^th season in De Pere at the start of the 2023-2024 season.

De Pere also plays home to SERVPRO Brown County, as we are located between Main & Ashland Ave, at 516 N. 8^th Street. SERVPRO Brown County has been part of the De Pere community since 1992, helping with fire restoration, water restoration, and mold remediation.  We are proud members of the De Pere Area Chamber of Commerce.
