Thornburg is in Spotsylvania County in of Virginia. Bring the family out to Patriot Park to enjoy two outdoor basketball courts, two small baseball diamonds, four large baseball diamonds, 6 multi-purpose fields, 3.1 mile walking trail, three restrooms and an amphitheater. The Spotsylvania Parks and Recreation Department welcomes promoters and private renters of the amphitheater, while also hosting its own in-house shows and events. The amphitheater rents from April 1 through December 31 each year. Capable of hosting crowds of up to 2,000 and a seating area for up to 200. Electricity and lighting are available. Restroom site is located next to the amphitheater.
