Formerly known as “Caney Creek” and “Mitcham Chapel” before being renamed for a fort that proved pivotal in the Crimean War (1853-1856), Malakoff, TX turned to coal mining in the 1920s and has grown quite a bit since. It’s even the site of the “Malakoff Man”, a prehistoric carved head found in the 1930s. Today, it’s no longer the site of coal mining, but has become its own city with a sizable population of 2,179 as of the 2020 Census. The work performed was done quickly and there was no mess left over for me or my wife to clean.
I have never dealt with a better company before in my life. SERVPRO of Kaufman County/Cedar Creek has proven to be very professional and very caring. The team came out to my home and removed mold . I was so concerned as to how I was going to get through the holidays, I gave them a call and they came out, took care of the problem and left my home in living condition again. Thank you SERVPRO.
