Leon Valley Water Damage Restoration and Fire Damage Restoration
Leon Valley started as a farming community in the 1940s and was incorporated in 1954. Residents wanted to be independent of nearby San Antonio. The population was under 500 at the time; however, there are now over 11,000 people living in the community. The town has a strong community with various activities planned throughout the year.
The town's website provides information about special events, including Christmas Tree Lighting, breakfast with Santa, movies in the park and more. The Lions Roar Newsletter, published six times a year, provides up-to-date information about activities and events in Leon Valley.
The Leon Public Library has numerous events planned throughout August and September. Summer yoga is scheduled at 9:30 on Fridays beginning on August 16th. The August Young book club is scheduled for August 29th at 6:00 p.m.
The City council meets monthly on the first and third Tuesdays, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Coffee with the Mayor is held quarterly on the fourth Saturday from 9am to 11 am. The next coffee get-together is scheduled for Saturday, October 26th.
