The City of Huntington is a beautiful small town located in East Texas’ “Pineywoods Country”. This site is named for Collis Potter Huntington, the chairman of the board of the Southern Pacific Railroad when the town was formed and one of the Big Four. Known as Texas Forest Country for the beautiful tall pines, we are located between Davy Crockett National Forest and the Angelina National Forest.
The Texas Forestry Museum is home to the story of the forests of Texas. The complexity of the natural resource, the legacy of the industry, and the current and future role of forest management practices can be explored through three galleries, outdoor exhibits, and an Urban Wildscape Trail.
One of the largest museums of its kind in the United States, the Texas Forestry Museum is a fun place for the whole family to look at the past, present and future of trees - How we grow trees, harvest trees, transport trees, process trees, and use trees in our daily lives. Featured exhibits include Sawmill Town, Paper Mill, Money Trees, logging train, fire tower, and Urban Wildscape Trail.

Their team explained everything about the process and came to our house every day to check on things and make adjustments. They cleaned everything before they left as if they weren't even there. We are very happy with the results! Thank you guys!!
