Booth, Texas small unincorporated town located right outside of Richmond and Rosenberg. It was founded in the 1890's by a man named Freeman Irby Booth, who was a wealthy landowner. Mr. Booth also owned a cotton gin, syrup mill, general store, and lumber yard.
Booth is located near the Brazos River and its several bayous which can lead to localized flooding during a significant rain event. In 2017 Booth had areas that were affected during Hurricane Harvey. During this time SERVPRO had its trained professionals onsite to help as many homeowners as possible to help begin restoring their lives. In 2021 there was a harsh winter freeze that affected the state of Texas. Many homes were affected due to the freezing temperatures and the many days they were without electricity. Without electricity residents were not able to keep their homes warm and that cause many pipes to freeze and bursts causing significant damage to the homes. Once the roads were safe to travel SERVPRO had personnel out helping to mitigate as much water of the water damages as possible.
