Summitville is an unincorporated community in Coffee County. Summitville is located along the Caney Fork and Western Railroad and is northeast of Manchester and has a population of just under 4,000 people. The post office of the community opened in 1877.
A must-see stop while driving through Summitville is the Crouch-Ramsey Family Farm, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The farm was established by Thomas Cunningham in 1901 and the house and log barn date to the 19th century. I had some water damage in my basement due to local flooding. Local SERVPRO crews were too busy to handle all the calls, so the Manchester Tennessee team was dispatched to my call. They were so easy to work with. They removed the wet carpet and drywall quickly and cleanly. The fans and dehumidifier got my basement completely dry again. Amazing Company! Our home had a skunk to die under our Hvac unit and it contaminated the inside of our home. We had to stayed in a hotel while SERVPRO took over. I never would have thought the smelled could be removed from our furniture , mattress , clothes, etc .. But SERVPRO took care of it within a week ! It makes me want to work for them !! Great job !
