Buchanan, TN was founded in the 1840s. It is located about six miles west of Paris landing state park, which is located on the Tennessee River on the west bank of Kentucky lake. As of 2008, the community has a post office, feed mill, a volunteer fire station, two churches, a Masonic hall and several houses, including the Paris landing state park. The total population of Buchanan is 2,961 and the average home value is 112,000$. After Hurricane Harvey my in laws house was flooded and due to inability to get back in for a week mold had begun. As soon as we could get in we called SERVPRO as the handled a minor flooding for us in the past and I knew they were a good company. They took our contact info and got a team out from out of state within 2 days in spite of the extreme devastation in Houston. They did an excellent job on cleaning the flooding and mold in the house and furnishings without us having to be there. They were thorough and very good with communication on the status of the clean up. I would definitely use them again should the need arise and I highly recommend their work, professionalism and communication throughout the horrible ordeal of the hurricane aftermath. I hired SERVPRO to clean my mom's carpet. Her carpet is old and lost its nap.
