Hot Springs, South Dakota is a popular town with a long history that began long before the gold rush to the Black Hills area. It had long been frequented by the Sioux and Cheyenne peoples who were attracted to its warm springs, just like many people today. It was originally named “Minnekahta” (meaning “hot water”) after its Lakota name but was renamed Hot Springs in 1882. It is home to Evan's Plunge Mineral Springs which has been a source of family fun and healing since it was established in 1890 over an 87-degree hot spring that pumps out 5,000 gallons of water per minute as well as Moccasin Springs Natural Mineral Spa, an outdoor spa with 6 pools varying in temperature from 80 to 105 degrees which was featured in USA Today Magazine in July 2024.

Everyone that came to our house to do the clean up, dry the carpet and walls, re-stretch the carpet and clean the carpet were great. Friendly. Introduced themselves when they came in. Offered information and advice all along the way. Not to say any one service was better than another, they were all equally great, but the initial clean up crew went to great lengths. They even removed more of the damaged sheet rock from the ceiling and wall. Trimmed it back, so the sheet rock repair was ready to go. Re-stretching and cleaning the carpet went very well, the results were great. Thank you All!

The SERVPRO crew was amazing. They came in and helped us find the cause of the leak in our house that was causing the damage. They explained in detail the steps they would take to dry and clean the damaged areas. They were professional and courteous! 5 Stars!
I recently went through the Cleghorn fire and my insurance company sent SERVPRO to come clean and sanitize my home from smoke damage. They were prompt, professional and went above and beyond anything I had imagined. Very knowledgeable in their job and have compassion for what people go through. They cleaned clothes, bedding and rugs and delivered dog beds to keep my pets safe too. I highly recommend them and thank you crew for helping get my life back together.
