North Kingstown, Rhode Island is one of the larger towns in Washington County RI. The west coast of North Kingstown borders the Narragansett Bay and the town features two interesting historical locations, The Gilbert Stuart Birthplace & Museum, and Smith’s Castle. The Gilbert Stuart House showcase the work of Mr. Stuart and his daughter. They are famous for painting the portraits of our Nation’s first presidents, George Washington & John Adams. Smith’s Castle was originally a trading post created by Roger Williams, the states founder and one of our nations founding fathers. The town has a population of close to 30,000 residents.
