A lot of Philadelphian’s associate Trevose with Feasterville, and rightfully so, because before the split in 2010, the area was formerly known as Feasterville-Trevose. Trevose’s main road is Brownsville Road, which is the dividing line between the two townships.
Trevose is a suburb of Philadelphia with a very dense suburban feel and most of its residents own their homes. Located in Lower Southampton Township, Trevose received its name after the home of early settler Joseph Growden. This home became known as the Trevose Manor and later the Growdon Mansion.
The community is home to the Trevose Fire Company, located on East Street Road. The fire department was formed during a meeting in 1926. After a horrible fire caused the death of two children, the town came together to discuss its own fire rescue company. As many as 26 members signed the charter to form the company.

They could not have been more accommodating to our schedule while we were displaced from our home. They did a great job cleaning and I can't thank them enough for the work that they did!
Michael Mitchell was the lead crew man and set the pace for the other workers. Things got done so quick I was amazed. SERVPRO is fortunate to have such a diligent worker who at all times was safe, courteous and professional. Daniel Foirendo who managed and oversaw the work being done by SERVPRO was very responsive to our needs in dealing with this emergency. His professional manner helped to calm us during this stressful ordeal. Our thanks to SERVPRO and to all the workers involved in the clean up.
