A Pennsylvania Borough That Holds On To Tradition
Founded in 1840 by John Strauss, Strausstown is a small borough in Pennsylvania where people look forward to The Antique Auto Show & Flea Market. Classic cars park on the Strausstown playground and let visitors take a look under the hood of some rare classic cars. The show also features food and drinks as well as live music. The Strausstown National Bank building operated as a bank from 1919 to 2016. Today it still stands in it's original form, but serves as a real estate office. The Zion Blue Mountain Church has a rich history in the borough. The dedication of the church building in 1905 was just one important chapter in the history of our congregation, which was established in 1739 on the northern frontier of Pennsylvania.
