SERVPRO of SW Portland responded immediately to a burst pipe on the third floor of our townhouse that had done considerable damage to all floors and nearly all rooms. The dry-out, carpet and drywall removal, and other remediation efforts were very well-equipped and well-staffed. The crew, ably led by Jermaine, faced special challenges because our builder had glued the particle board underlayment to the subfloor, which required tremendous effort to remove and clean up under hot and miserable conditions. We appreciate the hard work! Home damage like this is very stressful, and the experience was made bearable by DeShawn Blakey, SERVPRO's customer service rep, who guided us through the cleanup, advocated for us with insurance, and provided empathy and reassurance above and beyond what good customer service requires.
We chose to use a separate contractor for the rebuild, but we would recommend SW Portland SERVPRO given their excellent customer service, rapid response, access to specialized equipment, and well-staffed work crews.
I called SERVPRO of Southwest Portland and was greeted by Daniel who not only vacuumed up all the water but left a wonderful fan that dry the carpet in a very short period of time.
Given that I have allergies to mold, it was imperative that the flood is taking care of in a very short period of time. I gave these review five stars because it's rare to have such great customer service. I highly recommend SERVPRO Southwest Portland.
