Blodgett is a census-designated place (CDP) and unincorporated community in Benton County, Oregon. where Oregon Route 180 meets U.S. Route 20 in the Central Oregon Coast Range 15 miles west of Corvallis. Blodgett is near the confluence of the Tumtum and Marys rivers. Blodgett was named for pioneer settler William Blodgett. Blodgett Elementary School serves 38 students from kindergarten through fourth grade. Blodgett hosts "Mary's Peak Trail Run" in June and "Mudslinger" a mountain bikers ultimate adventure in April. The Mudslinger offers a Pacific Northwest original 11-mile course as well as a18-mile course on private Straker Forest land. The 1991 NORBA State Championships was help on this ground. Blodgett offers only one community store, so bring your adventurous side when coming visit this adorable small unincorporated town.
